🔄 3. How to Cancel Your Booking
Follow these simple steps to cancel your reservation at The Corbett Selva Resort:

Visit our booking engine and log in with the credentials used during your Jim Corbett resort reservation.

Navigate to your active bookings and select the Corbett Selva Resort reservation you wish to cancel.

Review the applicable refund amount based on the cancellation date and confirm your cancellation request.

A cancellation confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address within 1 business day.

⚠️ GST (Goods and Services Tax) charged on your Corbett resort booking is non-refundable as per Indian tax laws, regardless of the cancellation timing.
✏️ 5. Booking Modifications & Date Changes
We understand plans change. Here is how modifications work for your Jim Corbett resort booking:
- Date changes are permitted subject to availability at The Corbett Selva Resort.
- Modification requests must be made at least 15 days before check-in to avoid cancellation charges.
- If the new dates fall in a higher-rate period, the difference in room tariff will be charged.
- If the new dates are at a lower rate, the difference may be adjusted as a credit note — no cash refund for rate differences.
- Room type changes are subject to availability and applicable rate differences.
- Modifications requested less than 15 days before arrival will be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, with applicable charges.

🔍 6. Special Scenarios
The following special scenarios are applicable to bookings at our Jim Corbett resort:

- Natural disaster / force majeure affecting Jim Corbett region
- Verified medical emergency with valid documentation
- Jim Corbett National Park government closure announced after booking

- No-show without prior notice
- Early check-out (unused nights not refunded)
- Personal schedule changes within 7 days
- Wildlife safari unavailability (Forest Dept. jurisdiction)
- Dissatisfaction with weather or seasonal conditions in Corbett
⚠️ Early Check-out Policy: If a guest chooses to check out earlier than the booked date at our Corbett resort, the remaining nights will be charged in full. No refund will be issued for unused nights.
👥 7. Group Bookings & Package Deals
Special cancellation terms apply for group bookings and resort packages at The Corbett Selva Resort:
- Group bookings (5 or more rooms) require a minimum 60-day notice for free cancellation.
- Cancellation of group bookings between 30–59 days before arrival will attract a 50% cancellation charge.
- Cancellation within 30 days of arrival for group bookings will be non-refundable.
- Jim Corbett resort packages (including safari, meals, activities) — the safari and activity components are governed by Corbett Tiger Reserve Forest Department rules and are strictly non-refundable once confirmed.
- Corporate and MICE bookings at our Corbett property are subject to individually negotiated cancellation terms mentioned in the booking agreement.
🌪️ 8. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
In the event of extraordinary circumstances affecting the Jim Corbett region or your ability
to travel, The Corbett Selva Resort will consider the following on a case-by-case basis:
- Natural disasters — floods, landslides, or extreme weather in the Corbett / Uttarakhand region
- Government-imposed travel restrictions or Jim Corbett National Park closures
- National health emergencies or pandemic-related travel bans
- Verified serious medical emergencies (hospitalization certificate required)
In such cases, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:
- Full credit note valid for 12 months for a future stay at our Corbett resort
- Free date modification to an alternative period
- Partial or full refund depending on circumstances and advance notice given
